The Notaires à Carouge, so called because of their original geographical location in the canton of Geneva, are the heirs of a notarial tradition which, since 1898, has seen the succession of Jean-Auguste Buscarlet, Victor-Lucien Rochat, Gustave Martin, Ferdinand-Marcel Rehfous, Lucien Delétra, Maurice Kervan, Yves Aubert and Pierre Mottu. On the other hand, the Notaries in Carouge have collected the minutes and archives of a Geneva law firm that has seen the succession of Ernest Léon Martin, Pierre Mallet, Julien Baumgartner and Jean-Marc Delessert. Active in all areas of notarial law, the Notaires à Carouge today include four associate notaries, Costin van Berchem, Corine Rosset, Antoine Anken and Loïc Sauvin, accompanied by some thirty associates.
